How can I lose 1 and a half stone in 8 week's ?

a recent paper from University of California. They did a meta-analysis of all the work on weight loss over the past few years. ( summary) It showed that 2/3 of people who diet yo-yo to a higher weight, none of the faddy diets of diet pills work and that rapid weight loss doubles heart attack risk!They seemed to suggest the only hope was modest calorie reduction + EXERCISE.This is a news report of the article:
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/health/...I have to admit I have a 'stock' answer for this question, since if you look it appears 20-30 times every day!Type 'guaranteed weight loss' into google, you will find 1 1/2 million sites!Look around you if ANY of these things worked would we be getting so overweight?We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way.
Stop eating
drink water and eat only green apples. this is only a temp weight loss as once u start eating again u will put on the weight. i would run go to the gym eat normal not after 6pm and eat salad. terry
join a slimming club
400 kcal a day diet.But at the end of 8 weeks you'll be too weak and fried in the head to attend whatever bash you're slimming for. Also when you eat normally again you'll gain around 2 and half stone as you're body will be in 'famine' mode.Go down to 1400 kcal, do some excerise and spend sometime looking for a great outfit that will flatter you. x
You should aim for 2 lb a week to be safe. You're not a machine, you're a human and it takes time to readjust your body. If you want to starve yourself go ahead but it won't work and you'll only end up ill.
By exercising 4 times a week and eating healthy, lots of salads , fruit , veg , lean meat , fish etc
Chop off one of your legs, If you play football chop off the one you dont use as much and learn to header the ball with more skill.
cut out all carbs like bread pasta rice potatoes and just eat meat and fish with fresh veg and fruit. Have a bowl of homemade soup a day as well and try excerising for half and hour a day trust me i know it has worked for me email me if have any questions good luck!
Breakfast of branflakes or porridge
Lunch a large mixed salad with chicken breast or tune (NO mayo only balsamic vinegar or vinagrette dressint)
Dinner of fish /grilled , chicken plus as amnay veggies as you want (Not potatoes)
Sncks should be as much fruit as you want.
Drink water/ diet drinks
If you drink teA OR COFFE ONLY PUT SKIMMED MIL IN AND NO SUGAR ONLY SWEETNER
Walk 2 miles a day (Briskly0 but no need to jog.
