Exercise for 3 hours per day (running is best) and eat only salads, no dressing. But you know...that's not healthy...how about losing two pounds per week instead?

In order to lose one pound every day, you would have to burn off enough calories to make a 3500 calorie defecit every day. So, if you eat 1500 calories, then you would have to burn off about 3,500 calories at the gym (I'm assuming the other 1,500 calories you need to burn off will be used by your body just keeping you alive...it's called your BMR). A more realistic goal would be 2 or 3 pounds a week.

The other women were right.That's not a healthful way to lose poundage. Most likely if you lose it that fast you'll gain it back even faster because you are essentially starving yourself. When you do that you drop your metabolism and that messes with your body. Best to lose 2-3 pounds per week with small, frequent meals, aerobics and weight training (you need the aerobics to burn off the day's calories and when you weight train you can burn calories 24/7!)
