How can i run faster?

?
Answer:
It is all in your training. Hilly course training build strength in your legs and long run days will build endurance. On sprint days, concentrate on having your feet touch the pavement as little as possible. Also try some crosstraining for your core strength and legs.
if you are running at full power already then you want to lengthen your stride.
Use your hands to scoop away the wind and your shoulder muscles.
you could sprint uphill, my track coach told me it helps make you a faster sprinter.
my friend used to put weights on his ankles and after a few times he took them off and ran that way and it actually did help him run faster.
Steroids, or amphetamine should do the trick!!
you can move your arms with your legs,, so your gaining speed.you also need to BREATHE,, so you dont get out of breathe,, that is if you get out of breathe easily =]((hoped i helped)) =]
Train
The answers the other members mentioned are good. My suggestions add weights to your legs. Try skip roping for 30 minutes a day. Eat a proper diet, less junk food.
Find a local K-9 police unit. Give the cop the finger. You'll be amazed at the results.
I used to run track in college so listen....work on your starts, really try to explode out of your stance. Also remember to stay low and keep your head tucked during the acceleration phase of a sprint and when it come time to stride relax as much as you can. Also do not clinch your hands and dont do any unecessary head or arm movements.
Do Track and Field.

How can i run faster?

Answer:
The only way to run faster...is to run faster. Assuming you have a base already, get out on the track and warm up for 2 miles or so...and then do some speed work. Do 8 quarters with 30 seconds between each one. Start out pretty fast, but not too fast. Decend your times (in other words, each quarter should be faster than the last). It hurts and the workout sucks and you'll really hate it by the 5th one or so...but it works. One speedwork workout per week, 3 days of running the rest of the week, and maybe one day of swimming or biking to give your legs a rest. You'll get faster...your body will have no choice.
Lose weight, build up muscles, and don't be stupid.
move your legs quicker.
Pretend your running away from the cops!!! or a really pissed off Bull!!!
You have to practice running.
you have to develop leg muscles.
Try running about 100 meter sprints. about 5 times a day.For about 2 weeks.
Time yourself the first time you run the sprint. Then after the two weeks time yourself again. your time should improve.

How can I run farther?

Does anyone have any tricks for running. After about 3/4 of a mile my mouth starts to get really dry. I keep trying to push myself, but sometimes I feel like I'm not doing it right. I drink water before I go on my run. Are there any breathing tips/tools that I can use to not get winded so easily.P.S. I'm not in bad shape. I like to exercise and I can do high intensity dance and aerobics for an hour easily, but I can only hack like 15 minutes of running.
Answer:
You just have to build up your time gradually. And you can drink while you run. Start running for 10 minutes, then walk for 5, then run for 10. The next week, run for 12 and walk for 3, run 12, walk 3, etc. Add another couple minutes to your running time every week or so. It doesnt' take long at all.

How can I run better on the mile?

We have to run the mile tommorow and I'm pretty bad. In fall when we ran it I got 12:46 I want to do alot better this time. We are not allowed to bring music or water so How can I make myself run better and longer? What foods should I eat for breakfast and what foods at lunch?
Answer:
Eating before you run helps prevent hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), stave off hunger, fuel your muscles and give mental assurance that your body is well fueled. Depending on what you're running, what you eat during and after can also be very important.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Steps
1Step OneEat high-carbohydrate meals daily to keep your muscles fueled.
2Step TwoAvoid sugary foods, such as candy and soda, within an hour before hard exercise. Instead, choose high-starch, low-fat foods - bread, crackers and pasta - since they tend to digest easily.
3Step ThreeAllow adequate time for digestion - three to four hours for a large meal, two to three hours for a smaller meal and less than an hour for a small snack.
4Step FourStick with liquid foods if digestion is a problem.
5Step FiveEat familiar foods before a race. Don't try anything new.
6Step SixConsume sports gels or sports drinks during your workout or race if you're running 90 minutes or more. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids throughout.
7Step SevenReplenish immediately after exercise with a glass of juice or other high-carbohydrate foods. Follow up with a high-carbohydrate meal, especially after a race or hard workout.
Tips %26 Warnings
Don't eat before a race if it makes you nervous. Instead, eat extra the night before.
Bring nonperishable foods - bananas, dried fruit or bagels - if you're traveling to a run and won't be able to eat immediately after the workout or race.
Use high-carbohydrate sports drinks to supplement a healthy diet, not to consume as a food replacement
Streach and do a warmup, keep pushing your self during the run. Other than that pratice every other day for half hour and you will get better.
only way to get better is practice, and you don't have enough time to practice, you waited too long, no food is going to knock 2 or 3 minutes off your time. better luck next time, because you can't get that much better in less than 24 hours.
I'd say get lighter running tennis shoes and try an energy drink b4 you go so you'll be hyped up. oh yeah don't 4 get 2 stretch
streatch pick one person to stay in back of the hole time breath in through your nose out through your mouth focus have a song playing in your head and on the last lap when you are just about finished give it all you got
Its only a mile, so you shouldn't need water, other than being normally hydrated before you start. I would hope you could survive that long without wires coming out of your ears. I manage 12 hours worth of Ironman without them..As for food, just avoid eating heavy, or anything greasy that's going to come back on you. Its not long enough that you have to worry about depletion, so no need to eat anything special. As for pacing, just slow and steady the first two quarters, speed up a bit the third, then light it up on the last.
It is almost impossible to run noticeably faster within a day.At Ohio State University, football coach Woody Hayes installed a 40 yard ramp behind the end zone, at something like a 25-degree incline. But instead of running up the ramp to build strength, his players ran down the ramp to build speed.By runnning downhill on a long gradient you 1.)lengthen your stride, which is important in running faster and 2.) every step going downhill is a plyometric excercise.
A plyometric excercise is a type of excercise that uses explosive movements to develop muscular power.
.
just look a few feet ahead of you and just think "ok. i just have to get that far" and then when you get that far, just do that again! i know i know, it souds stupid, but it really works! try it.

How can I remove fat from my hips when I am thin everywhere else?

I seem to have these chubby hips when I am super thin.
Answer:
I used to have this problem. What fixed it for me is power walking. Not running. Walking moves your hips actually more than running does because if you always have one foot on the ground then your hips are being moved all over the place. When you're running your hips go just as high as your legs. Power walk with your dog or by yourself. Mine went down a lot.
Milk is scientifically proven to slim down the waist line. DRINK MORE MILK!
i know an exercises that might help. you can lay on your side on the floor and raise your leg. do about 50, then switch legs. keep doing it everyday. do 25 more the next day, and keep adding on.

Always Think Fit:First step in exercise is to always Think FIT. To make physical improvements, you need to work your body harder than usual. This is referred to as the overload principle. As your body becomes more conditioned, you need to increase the frequency, intensity, or time of your workouts in order to continue improving your fitness levelChoosing an Exercise:
The best exercise is an activity that you enjoy enough to really pursue enthusiastically.
鈥ndoor (Facility) Activities: If the treadmill, stairmaster, rowing machine or stationery cycle doesn't excite you, sample some group activities that strike your fancy. Participate in a group cycling class, beat stress with yoga, find balance with martial arts, stay cool with indoor swimming, or kick some you-know-what with boxaerobics.1. Change your eating habits (i.e. start eating smaller portions of food) before if you ate a full plate of food try eating 2/3 of a plate instead.
2.
o Substitute aspartame for sugar
o Try eating 3 or 4 smaller meals during the day rather than 2 large ones
o Eat your main large meal at midday with the other meals much smaller in content
o Don't eat heavy meals late in the evening as the body wont have time to digest it so it ends up stored as fat in your body.
o Balance your meals out during the day so in one day you have a mix of protein, carbohydrate and vitamins
o Drink lots of water during the day and before, during and after exercise, you should drink at least 8 big glasses of water per 24 hours
o Drink alcohol in moderation
o Stop smoking if you smoke or cut down
o Eat more fibre i.e. pulses grains nuts, pasta, brown rice, cereals, fresh fruit
o Eat more vegetables as part of your diet
o Eat less dairy products or choose those with less fat content i.e. cottage cheese
o Try steaming or poaching food instead of frying it, frying adds calories by the bucketful
o Cut down on Red meat and eat more lean or better still chicken and fish instead
o Use low fat oils in cooking i.e. sunflower, corn or Mazola
o Cut down on your salt intake, there are hidden salts even in tinned foods
o Try substituting carrots or fresh fruit instead of biscuits and sweetmeat when you have a craving for something in between meals.
o Drink semi or skimmed milk as opposed to full cream
Simply choose a diet which is low in fat and cholesterol, moderate in sugar and salt and high in fibre but at the same time has a variety of everything thus making it a balanced diet.Calculate your BMR!!
BMR means Basal Metabolic Rate.It is used to estimate how many calories you should consume.By using a simple formula called the Harris-Benedict principle, you can assess your BMR.
Your BMR is the amount of energy your body needs to function. Then, to lose weight, you'll need to cut calories or burn extra calories and shoot for a level lower than the results you get with this formula.
We use about 60 percent of the calories we consume each day for basic bodily functions such as breathing.Other factors that influence your BMR are height, weight, age and sex.
Step One : Calculate your BMR with the following formula:
鈥omen: BMR = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
鈥en: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
Step two : In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:
鈥f you are sedentary : BMR x 1.2
鈥f you are lightly active: BMR x 1.375
鈥f you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 1.55
鈥f you are very active (You exercise daily.): BMR x 1.725
鈥f you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 1.9
Create a Calorie Deficit:
In order to lose weight, you must create a calorie deficit. It is easier and healthier to cut back your calorie intake a little bit at a time.
Every 3,500 calories is equivalent to 1 pound.
If you cut back 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound per week.
If you exercise to burn off 500 calories a day you will also lose 1 pound per week.
Ideally, you should do a combination of both, (e.g. cut back 250 calories; burn an extra 250 calories).

eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Lose weight.Burn more calories than your body takes in.
Take up jogging.
ARGH!!!! Why do people consistently ask how to lose weight? Is the answer not obvious to you??!!! EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE!!!!!!FFS!!!...
Hi,The key is sensible eating and plenty of targeted excercise!Unfortunately its going to be a rather long process, as hips and stomach area are the hardest to loose weight from!Lot depends on your shape too, pear or apple...etc..Try not to eat any saturated fat in your diet, sugary foods,etc...as they just deposit in those areas if they are not used up!Plenty of greens!!
When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.Guide to Reducing Body Fat - http://www.straighthealth.com/pages/guid...

How can i reduce a good amount of weight in 1 month??pls post a schedule too 4 meeee..+excercises that requi

myself weighs 60kg,,
height 5.6
want to reduce flabs from belly
Answer:
all you need to do is crunches and walk. You aren't over weight if you are 60kg/132 lbs. at 5'6" tall. I am your same height and weigh a lot more!(I am not fat)(I am me!) Just be yourself,You are you! And you are good enogh! People pick up on those who hate their bodies. Don't lower yourself to Hollywood standards, not everyone can afford to live there! Or afford surgery. Good luck, give yourself more credit, and have a positive attitude! Don't be so judgemental of your body. Who really cares? As long as you are happy
Most people's main problem is portion control. Try eating 5 or 6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones, and get your meats, veggies, fruits, grains, and dairy. Don't eat after 7, and when you eat snacks, eat something healthy like fruit or a granola bar. Ask your friend to sign up with you at a gym. It would be a good way to spend some quality time together and it would be good encouragement.
I think you are a bueaty Now!

How can i recover my health back. my face is getting dried up. what things i need to do?

my face is losing its freshness day by day. earlier i looked smart but now i am depressed of it. i don't go outside my home too. Do i need to get up early in the morning and go outside. i have become a lazy person too.
Answer:
if youre lazy, try doing simple exercise like walking in the park after working, walking to youre office i its just nearby, eat a lot of fruits because they have anti-oxidants to help clear toxins in the body, take any vitamin E which helps rejuvinate the skin.
i recommend any vit.E in any drugstore.
you should drink water and eat fruit
http://www.best-diet-food.com
eat healthy! , drink lots of water. go outside and get some activity! try exfoliating you skin with a brown sugar scrub. see your doctor about the depression.. if you feel like sh**, your gonna look like it too!
hey im replying to the answer you left me. Funny thing is that im going through the same your are saying about being lazy. I think its just a coincidence. ABout the hypersex thing, I cannot sleep unless its taken care of. If I sit for a period of time, the feeling is uncontrollable. You know how you feel trying to hold back tears when your going to cry, the feeling of stress build up, well take that and apply it to ejaculation all day and thats me. Is that what its like for you?
sounds like you need to get out and get you blood circulating again. If you exercise it stimulates blood circulation which will improve your skin. It will release endorphins so you feel good and it will speed the metabolism which can aid in losing weight, depression, laziness, digestion and much more. Its hard to get started when you get into those lazy ruts but if you make yourself do it for a week, you will be thankful.
You should drink lots of water. I am not really understanding your question, if you are getting lazy, you should exercise and find stuff to occupy your mind and body.

How can I rebuild my butt once it has gone flat?

After years of working a desk job my butt is flatter than a duck's instep. What's the best way to reshape my posterior?
Answer:
BARBELL SQUATS: They are the King of Lower Body Exercises, nothing else even comes close. Find someone (e.g. a personal trainer) who can instruct you in the proper form. Most people do these with theur weight too far forward, the secret is before you even think of bending your knees to stick your butt and hips out behind you towards the back of the wall. Squat deep (until your thighs are parallel to the floor) You can practice the form at home by standing about 3" in front of a chair that would put you at about this height and SLOWLY putting your butt out behind you and lowering it until you make a Controled and Gentle landing with it on the edge of the chair. When you can do six of these in a ow without falling over or stumbling back you will be ready to throw a bar and some weight on.
Very easy, go cycling.
Squats and use the elliptical machine for cardio. The resistance on the elliptical will help, but definitely squats.
Try doing weighted squats %26 lunges. Also, if you go to the gym, there is a few machines that you can use as well (just look at the pictures on the side as to what muscles they work)
Butt implants or Butt exercises, your choice.
you need to do squats but instead of regular squats stick your butt out a little that way your buns get a work out another way is to do but busters where you basically get on all four and lift one leg at a time with a weight .you should also visit a body building site www.musclemag.com good luck and soon enough nice buns buddy
lay on your back with your knees up and your hands by ur side then push up your butt and hold it there for 10 sec. then just keep repeating!!
that whati have to do to keep my bun in shape for dance!
Lunges, with or without weights in your hands or on your shoulders, will help rebuild those fanny muscles.
Stairs, Hiking, any kind of exercise that uses incline that will bring that duck hiney of yours right back into your jeans or whatever pants you wear.
Another good one is walking at a good pace on a treadmill with the incline at its highest. You'll get your cardio plus it's great on the glutes!
skip steps when walking up the stairs. to prevent this from happening in the future here is a trick.most people when they sit, are not sitting on their "butts" but their backs. when you sit down, shift side to side (your whole upper body to your lower back, might have to stick your butt on each side to do this) so that you are actually sitting on your butt bone.

How can I realistically lose 20 lbs in 2 months?

Will start the gym today and hopefully by the end of June will look noticeably different. Any ideas, tips, suggestions?
Answer:
In addition to your gym routine, which should be a mix of aerobic activity and weight training:
- Find more ways to squeeze in exercise...take the stairs instead of the elevator...park farther, etc.
- Replace foods that break down too fast with whole foods, whole grains, or complex carbohydrates. The foods to avoid are sugary or starchy foods...most junk or convenience foods fall in this category.
- Make water your primary beverage...you can enjoy a soda or juice once in a while...just don't rely on those for hydration. Instead of the juice, eat the whole fruit instead...the ratio of sugar to dietary fiber is much better.
- 20 lbs in 2 months is somewhat realistic...I'm glad you are not trying to lose it faster because rapid weight loss is very unhealthy and tends to be temporary.
Salads they hardly have any calories in
Try doing Atkins Diet...if you follow it strictly you should have no problem losing that much..maybe even more depending on your weight.
fasting...nah just playing...hire a personal trainer who is willing to comply with your goals
go to google.com and search cleveland clinic dietit supposedly makes you lose 10 lbs. a week it is given to cardiac patients who need to lose 40 lbs in a month
you can do like the south beach diet. Eat chicken, salmon and fish. One a day. Then do snacks, like 2%string cheese, beans, peanuts, sugar free jello. NO sugars, no friuts, just salads. Egg beaters in the morning, with cheese and low fat sausage. Try Teibo for 30mins.. and all that worked for me.
drink lots of water
It is possible to lose 20 lbs in 2 months with the right diet and exercise but you have to take your own weight in to consideration. For a heavier set person it is possible for that person to lose it in under a month but if you are a mid or lighter set person, weight lose might be a little harder.A tip that has been of great use to me is drinking a lot of water. The human body normal saves up as much water as possible for later use but if you tell your body that the water will always be there, your body won't hold in as much water weight.
I am currently on a diet myself, and I have tried many diets in the past also. The only diet that worked for me was the Suzanne Somers diet. It's like Atkins, but the food is better and you are allowed bread once in a while. Personally, I cannot do low carb diets because I feel too deprived and I gorge myself on beef jerky sticks all day that contain too much salt, which end up bloating me a lot. Go to the SlimFast official website and sign up. They have a really great plan with realistic receipes and a "buddy" system where you can talk to other people on the plan. It's working out for me, you should check it out.
cut out all sugar and flour. about ten pounds per month is what you will lose.
We'll it depends how overweight you are. Typically people who are 40-50 pounds overweight will have alot easier time shedding pounds compared to someone who is 5-10 pounds overweight. I think the key is to start the day with a breakfast that will provide you will the energy needed to complete your day and then workout. FRUITS, like bananas can do this with the benefit of low calories. At the gym lift weights BEFORE doing your treadmill work. Numerous studies comfirm weight lifting heightens the effects of cardio if done before. For one cardio session a week do 3-5 40 yard sprints which will rev' up your metabolism for many hours afterwards.
A couple of weeks ago I heard about phentermine from a girl who also tried clenbuterol and had NO results. She tried phentermine 37.5 mg after the clenbuterol disaster. She lost about 25 pounds in 2 months using phentermine 37.5 mg. Her cousin lost about 50 pounds in 3 months using it. Naturally I was interested in phentermine 37.5 mg and began to do some research on it. After my research I decided to give it a try.I ordered my phentermine (37.5 mg) on 4/19/07 from a website called US-Pills.com. I received my order in 6 days, 4/25/07. They do have express shipping if you want to receive your order sooner. I paid $199.00 for 90 pills, which is a 3 month supply. I know that sounds expensive, but I checked NUMEROUS web sites and this site seemed to have the best prices and also seemed to be a legit site. If you can get a prescription from your doctor it would be a lot cheaper. Unfortunately, my doctor refused to provide me a prescription because she said I was not obese and she only will prescribe phentermine to obese patients. I've been taking my phentermine (37.5 mg) since 4/26/07 and I can tell already that it's working!! Here are some of my results so far. I feel like I'm melting. My closes are fitting loser and when I look at myself in the mirror after I get out of the shower I look smaller. My phentermine came with instructions, which instructed me to take 1 pill per day in the morning 30 minutes prior to breakfast. I take my pill as soon as I get up and go to the gym about 30 minutes later. I feel so energized and have the best workouts then I have had in a long time. I am able to work out longer and harder. I eat my breakfast when I get home from the gym. I'm not hungry all day and have no cravings for sweets or bad foods like I normally would before I started using phentermine. Because I no longer have the bad cravings I eat healthy small meals throughout the day. Since I'm not hungry anymore, I'm probably consuming about 800-1000 calories per day. The only side effect I have experienced so far is dry mouth. The dry mouth causes me to drink a ton of water, which is great anyway for weight loss success. I'm now drinking about 80 ounces of water a day. Before phentermine I had to force myself to drink water and only drunk about 20-30 ounces a day.I'm very excited about this product. I believe I finally found something that will help me reach my weight loss goal.I help this was helpful to you. Good luck!!
diet and exercise :)
u hear it all the time - just because thats the only thing that really works- short and long term
congratulations on joining the gym :) - thats the first step
next is planning... if u dont plan out ur meals - ur just going to eat anything infront of u when ur hungry
what u need to do is learn how to eat properly- in terms or portions, meal-time/snacking and food selection
-throw out all junk food ... if they arent in ur house they wont haunt u (chips, chocolate, cookies, high fat ice cream etc etc)
-next stock up on fresh fruits and veggies
- get rid of ur vegetable oil and buy canola and olive oil
use the canola for frying ur eggs and olive oil for ur salads.. u only need a little amount for both
- make sure ur taking in 2 litres of water.. the more the merrier - just dont empty the ocean lol
- cut ur sugar intake... none in coffee none in tea... drink ur beverages black.. cutting cream and sugar makes a huge difference if ur a tea and coffee drinker - if ur a pop and juice person.. CUT THE POP OFF COMPLETETLY and make sure ur juices are 100% pure juice... the only sugar u should consume are those naturally occuring in foods like fruits :)
- no white bread... ur bread whould be 100% whole wheat or whole grain
-slat causes water retention and high blood pressure... salt should be cut down to a minimum
-now for eating the foods... in the morning u must have breakfast within 15 minutes of waking up - eat oatmeal, high fiber cereal with some fruit, or a healthy sandwich and juice
2 hrs later have a snack (low fat yogurt, veggies fruit)
2-3 hrs after ur snack have lunch - have a sandwich, soup and crackers (easy on the salt), juice a salad boiled eggs
2 hrs after lunch have a snack (low fat yogurt, veggies fruit)
2-3 hrs after that have dinner - try not to have many carbs here- load up on protien like chicken, have a salad drink a glass of milk etc etc
u can choose to have a evening snack but make sure its vegetables.
drink water thru out the day and stay positive and determined.
this is just rreeeeally simple.. just so u get the idea.
also...this should be a lifestyle - healthy eating is healthy and long living, wuts gonna make u drop the pounds in the begining is cutting out all ur bad food habits like junk food, pop, less salt, right amount of oils and fats (try almonds), no cream and sugar, learning how to drink more water and eating more veggies
what u should concentrate on is getting all ur carbs early in the day - thru breakfast and lunch ... keep ur dinner for protien and veggies- because ull burn more during the day moving around than the night while resting
avoid eating after 7
and get 7-8 hrs of sleep
and exercise in moderation ... 4 days of cardio a week and 3 days of weight lifting
dont over do it .. let ur body rest
and good luck :)

How can I quit sweets/candies?

I have a text book sensible breakfast, lunch, dinner. I workout - cardio, weights, yoga, tennis. But I'm 15 lbs over weight cos I am addicted to sweets %26 candies. A typical day would be a flake, a wagon wheel, 1/4 of a chocolate orange, milkyway etc. I hate myself for being held hostage by my cravings. How can I control myself?
Answer:
stop buying them
still eat a few but gradually reduce the amount you eat
if you try stopping completely overnight you'll only end up binging
you have to come down slowlyand try replacing your sweets with carrot or celery sticks
you can even try doing both
for example:
when you pick up your flake cut it in half and replace one half with it's equivalent in carrot
then move on to replacing 3/4 and then the whole thing.you could also brush your teeth right after you've eaten and then try to keep your teeth clean for as long as possible.
Try just stopping cold turkey, it is easier than doing it gradually.
first of all get rid of all the sweets in your house! out of site might not be totally out of mind but it helps. also, eat more sweet tasting fruits like oranges. that will help with the cravings for sugar.
Chew sugarless gum.
Don't buy these items, bypass the chocolate aisle in the supermarket, and take packed lunches to work and no money to buy sweets, thats the only way I can stop myself doing the same thing, good luck
I gave up eating things with PROCESSED sugar gradually, starting with pop, mainly coke. I didnt find it hard if you remove one thing at a time. I don't even put sugar in my coffee anymore. I lost over 20 lbs.And btw, using sugar substitue like Equal庐 %26 Aspartame DOESNT work. It has been proven that when your brain senses the taste of sugar, even a substitute it makes you CRAVE it when you don't have it, and doesnt know the difference pyschological between the fake stuff and the real deal. (Which means you drink a diet pop and an hour later you crave anything with real sugar)
Instead of eating candy, try eating a fruit, you probabley won't like it at the time but it will satisfy your craving for a while?
Well.. that is tough. I love candy and sweets but I don't each them everyday. Just ask yourself "what good is this going to do for me? Is it going to affect my body is a bad way, or a good way" And most of the time you'll come to the conclusion that you dont need the sweets, because they're just plain unhealthy for you.
get rid of all the sweets and everything but you can't not let yourself eat any chocolate or you will want it more
How about buying a really rich bar of dark chocolate with loads of cocoa - it will be so rich you will only be able to eat a few pieces! That is way too much sweets and chocolate but I know how you feel I'm a total chocoholic! Snack on fruit instead or sugar free mints instead. Good luck :)
Eat too many in one day - No seriously. Many years back, cadbury were running a scheme where if you collected 30 wrappers you got a concert ticket. My sister decided she needed 2 more tickets so we went out and bought 60 bars of chocolate and unwrapped them to send off the wrappers. The smell was bad enought to put me off chocolate. I now can't stand the stuff - quite useful really i guess
Substitute the candies with other natural sweets, like if you eat fruit, make a smoothie. Or whenever you want something sweet, eat sorbet or sweet fruits. Make sure you gradually wean yourself off slowly though. I had the same problem, and I went completely off sweets one day, and got bad headaches. I was in withdrawal from candy! I was addicted.
Will power. we r all addicted to choco
Do more exercise when you eat more sweets and less when you don't. Don't control it, just go excess on the exercise.
i used to be addicted to sweet things.the thing was i could leave them out for weeks but a soon as i had 1 sweet i would then go on a binge.the only way to give them up is to stop cold turkey it worked for me ,hope it works for you,bye
Well, I have had success losing weigh (which was from snacking) by switching to natural foods. Reading labels has helped...stay away from corn syrup and anything which is cheap or you can't make by yourself. Fruit is a good snack, esp. dried fruit and organic cereals. Yogurt too...but read the label first to make sure it is not filled with too much sugar or corn syrup.
Another thing that helps is staying busy, and avoiding places where you might be tempted...ah, the coffee shop was hard for me.
You must change your attitude to change sweets %26 candies
to fruits and vegetables.Don麓t even think to be overheight.
Get some more commitment in the act of not scoffing sweeties.Make it known around your workplace/home environment you are giving up sweets, and you want them to sponsor you, that's right! Pick a charity, they all need our help, set a time period, maybe a month, maybe three. Don't cheat yourself and improve your lifestyle and the recipients of the charities! You know your not just letting down yourself, you're letting down those poor puppies/cats/donkeys/children/... of an aliment et cetera
wanna know what I did? Dont buy it.
And also stick the grossest fatty pic you can find of anyone on your fridge and in your purse and when you fancy a choccie bar...YOU WONT DO IT!
It worked for me, I lost 1 stone in 3 weeks.
Good luck!!
Try sugar free candy. Or carob

How can I quickly loose some weight and tone up for prom in a week?

Answer:
Sorry. You can't do all that in a week.
Losing weight too quickly is extremely unhealthy. Although you could starve yourself and lose nine pounds in a couple of weeks you can't do it in one week unless you eliminate everything including water. Once you start drinking again it would immediately show up on the scale IF you're still alive.Quick weight loss, although fun, is dangerous and risky. When you lose more than 1.5 to 2.0 lbs. per week for more than a week or so you are losing muscle along with the fat. Besides losing muscle tone you're risking your heart and other major organs because they are also muscles. Another big issue is that when you lose too quickly you gain it back even more quickly than you lost it, generally adding a couple of extra pounds. The only way to do it if you hope to keep it off is to eat sensibly, cutting out junk food, processed food and excess sugar. There are many ways to do it but whatever plan you choose should be a lifetime choice. If you go back to what you were eating prior to losing weight (many call this going back to "normal" eating) you'll just gain the weight back again. How do you think you gained it in the first place?

How can I put on weight when I rarely have an appetite?

I was diagnosed with depression 2 years ago. I weighed 155 back then, now I'm at 150. If I don't have an appetite, how can I get one and start putting on pounds? I'm lankier and skinnier than a bean pole. I want to be voracious
Answer:
Here is my bad advice for the day...Have you tried getting stoned?
try to do as little excercise as possible. eat bread %26 frosting tho when you can. yummy %26 pound packing!
haha, nice one Michelle
haha, my suggestion is "Ice Cream (Dreyers)" yummy
I am probably one of the few people who has had both weight problems, trying to take weight off, and try to put weight on. I had to eat in excess of 3000 calories a day just to keep my weight at 110lbs, about 25 lbs under weight. First do not stop exercising, you need to keep your cardiovascular system moving to protect your overall health. I would suggest getting on a good solid schedule, this will help so you don't have to think about this all the time. Eat in smaller meals and don't ever skip breakfast. I found that if i skip breakfast I could go all day without eating, and when I did eat it made me fell sick. When i switched to eating a small breakfast and eating little meals I didn't feel sick and my appetite returned.Foods:
Brown rice
whole wheat pasta
whole wheat cereals
salmon - has lots of healthy fat and more calories than chicken
lots of fruit
try adding herbs to your food, some of them help your appetite - and i don't mean the illegal ones.If your on medication for your depression check with the doctor, some medications can cause you to loose weight and decrease your appetite.

How can I properly work out my lower abs?

When I work out I feel like Im only doing my upper abs, is there anything I can do for my lower abos or just above my pelvic bone?
Answer:
yeah..you can do reverse crunches/sit-upslie on your back and lift your legs abover your body, then thrust them towards the sky (or if you can go up and down slowly) making your lower back come off of the ground...then repeatyou could also do leg-lifts...which may or may not work the lower abs...lie on your back and lift your legs a couple inches off of the ground and hold them there for an extended period of time
get abs there hot!!
I lay with my back on the ground and do leg lifts keeping my legs straight and together.
You should work out all three sections of the abdomen area. Here is a website that has tons of abdomen exercises.www.shapefit.comGood luck!
lower abos? ....and they call me racist!
Here are two great exercises for the lower abs:The Plank:
lay flat on your stomach
place your elbows on the floor
hands out infront of you to form a triangle
lift your hips up off the floor
you should be on your elbows and toes
do not lift the hips too high or too low
you should be in a straight line
suck your abs up into your spine
don't hold your breath
hold this position for 10 counts
lower down and rest for 10
go back up for 20 counts
repeat lifting and lowering until you reach 30 countsToe Taps:
lay on your back
lift the knees up
your knees should be over your hips
legs bent at a 90 degree angle
lower back pressed into the floor
inhale as you lower the left toe down and out to tap the floor
exhale as you slowing bring the knee back up
switch sides alternating
do 12-15 reps per side
leg lifts are good. I work with a trainer and he always tells me not to let my feet touch when doing leg lifts. You can also do scissors moves with your legs and a hold, where you just lift your feet 6 inches and hold it for as long as you can- at least 30 seconds.
When you do crunches, come up and twist a little to the right, then left then right etc. Also when you do crunches sometimes try to keep your legs up like your sitting in a chair on your back, and bring your knees to your elbows and elbows to your knees a the same time. one more thing you can try is to lay on your back, sit on your hands, keep your legs straight and keep them off the ground about 6 inches, bring your feet all the way behind your head and separate keeping your legs straight, all those exercises work well.
My AB Workout consists of 3 basic exercises. These exercises work on the 3 abdominal groups, worked out in the correct order to get maximum results.1. Leg raises (Rectus Abdominis)
2. Side Crunches ( External/Internal Obliques)
3. Straight Crunches (Transverse Abdominis)Here is how it works. You want to get up to where you are doing 3 sets of 25 reps for each exercise. But start with one set of 15, then 20, then 25. Then start with 2 sets of each, then finally 3 sets. Only allowing a 30 to 45 second break between sets.1. Lie flat on a mat, with your hands placed at your lower back, close to your butt. Now with your legs bent slightly, and toes pointed away from your body, with legs together, lift your legs up 6 inches off the ground. Each rep consists of lifting your legs from 6 inches to 12 inches. You cannot put your legs on the ground till the set is done. Go between 6 inches, to 12 inches, and back. Each time you reach the 6 inch mark, count one rep. Each movement should be one second. One second up, one second down. 2. Lie with your back flat on the mat, your legs should be bent so that your feet are flat on the mat, about shoulder width apart. Your hands should not be behind your head, but place them under your opposite armpits, or chest. Now you curl up, not lifting your lower back off the mat, (these are crunches, not situps) Your rep consists of curling your right elbow towards your left knee, and then the other side. You do not touch your knee. One second up, one second, down. One second other side, one second down. A rep consists of both sides being done. So your rep is done when you have moved up, and down, on each side. (This one you will notice right away)3. Lie the same way as in number 2 above, with the hands in the same position. Now this one you just curl straight up, hold for a second, then back down. Do not jerk yourself up, Curl yourself up. Each rep consists of one up, and one down. Each time you are on the mat with your back, counts as one rep.NOTE: You can do abs every day. But I find if I rest one day a week, I reward myself for sticking with it. GOOD LUCK, and enjoy your SIX PACK.
Abs are built in the kitchen. Losing weight removes the blanket of fat covering the abs that you already have. Then proceed with all of the great exercises mentioned in previous posts.
no such thing as the lower abs. the rectus abdomins is a single muscle and muscles either contract as a whole or not at all. don't judge the mechanics of an exercise but the amount of localized fatigue that is felt it means nothing. the best abdominal exercises are the ones that utilize a full range of motion. leg lifts, flutter kicks, etc. do not work the so called lower abs. the primary mover in those exercises are muscles of the hip flexors that lie deep underneath the lower portion of the RA and the perform the majority of work. the RA is only stimulated isometrically with such exercises.to "see" the bottom portion of the RA you must decrease the body fat low enough to remove the fat in that area.

How can i prevent weight gain? tips please!?

ive recent suffered from bulimia, ive starved myself ect.
but now ive gained some weight, from 6 stones to a healthy 9.
but now i want to stay 9, and if i carry on with a normal diet which i am, i will gain lots of weight.
how do i prevent weight gain?
Answer:
if you're eating correctly then you won't put on more weight than is healthy, if your worried about putting too much weight on start exercising, you'll feel better for it and learn to control your weight properly through proper diet and exersice, but its basically to use the same ammount of calories as you eat to stay the same.
good luck.
i'm sure i just answered your other question realting to belly fat?!...
Well if you've been suffering from eating disorders I hope you're seeking advice from a nutritionist. they will be able to help you with healthy eating and maintaining weight.
When you start to eat 'normally' again, your body will naturally put on weight but if you're eating healthily it should soon level itself out at a weight that's natural for yourself

How can I prevent gaining weight while on vacation?

This summer I'm going to Texas for 10 days to visit my cousin who just got married and is having a baby. We will probably go out to eat a lot and I might not be able to exercise very much. However, I don't want to gain weight. What are some tips for not getting fat? What foods should I avoid?
Answer:
Well...planning, planning, planning. Think ahead. Space your meals out and eat small. Nothing says you can't order an appetizer - and lots of restaraunts have veggie side dishes. Get salads and veggies when you can. Get appetizers other times. And - there are PLENTY of ways to excercise without leaving the house - walk around the house...do sit ups...yoga... Mostly, plan what you will do when you get back so that you have a gameplan to lose any weight you do gain (10 days is not that much) - that will give you more confidence. A lot depends on how you are as an eater... If going out is fun for you and you enjoy trying new things, it can be hard to say no to the interesting, higher fat foods...but if you are just going along to be with the person then try to eat skinny...smile.One more quick idea - if possible...suggest food courts or places near malls or parks to eat - then offer a walk after the meal...why not? Refreshing change to sitting around watching movies or whatever...and promotes quality time together. :)
A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watchKeep to a 1,200 food intakeAdd 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127
Dont get anything fried(or keep it to a real minimum)
Choose rice or veggies over fries or mashed potatoes. Ask for sauces and butters onthe side and apply as little as youll need. Always ask if theres a suger free or fat free option. Egg white only, no yolks, no red meat. No cheese. Try to get things baked bc food that is sauted and grilled involves grease or oil. Dont get stuffed fish, onyl the filet and actually spicey food fills you up faster. Park the car further from the resteraunts and theres always time for a little excrecise. Do 20 squats here or here, dosnet even take a full minute or get down and do 10 crunches throughout the day, even ONCE a day is better than nothing. Jog in place for a little. You may not get to doa whole 30 minute workout but do something. Also, I used Trimspa to curb my appetite when I was losing works great! I liked the Citra formula and coffee curbs your appetite, too.No beer, if you drink make it clear(no red) wine or liquor.
just try to balance out what you order. if you get a burger one night, take a break and have a salad the next. also, try to order more water than sodas because the soda adds additional carbs. as long as you try to balance your meals out, you should be fine.

How can I possibly gain 5 lbs. in a week?

What should I eat to gain weight like 5 lbs in a week? I lost weight because I got sick.
Answer:
you can check master zhi long . he can help you .
well, eat bigger portions every meal. and cut back on excercising. If you want to take it to the extreme, like stuff your self with like chocolayte and juk food every day. I know it'll work, but i dont recommend it. good luck.
It really isn't healthy to gain 5 pounds in one week. Just make sure that you eat enough and stick with healthy foods and you will put the weight back on. It puts a lot of stress on your body to gain too much weight too fast. Not really the answer you are looking for but my opinion.
You can't.

How can I possibly gain 2 pounds???

okay for the past month I have really been trying hard to lose weight. so far I have been successful. I have lost 10 pounds by watching what I eat and walking, staying away from sodas and drinking water. okay so here's my problem. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale said 160, then i weighed myself again today and the scale said 162. now how the hell can I gain 2 pounds after I continue to eat right and exercise. i have done absolutely nothing that would cause me to gain 2 pounds, so is my scale wrong. any input would be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
Sounds like the scale is off... that happens to me a lot. No need to worry!
Maybe your gaining muscle which is good. If you feel you have gotten skinnier, you could just be getting in better shape versus straight up losing weight.
It is possible that the scale is off a little, but it could be that you needed to use the... ehem restroom before you weighed yourself.
dont live and die by the scale. your weight fluctuates even within a day by a couple of pounds. its best to go by how your clothes feel on you and fitgood luck - dont get discouraged - keep on the way you have been doing
Perhaps you ate something with alot of sodium and it caused you to retain alot of water.
You might be gaining muscle. That is a good thing.

How can I only lose my face fat?

My body is really skinny, but compared to my body, my face is very fat. Is there a way I can lose all my face fat only (and not lose my body fat)?
Answer:
How to Lose Fat Around the Face (Under the Chin, Around CheeksAs much as we would love to "spot reduce" our less desirable areas, it is not possible without going under the knife. Diet and exercise are the keys to weight loss. You will lose body fat where there is body fat, the rest of the body will become toned and fit.
Steps 1. Begin an exercise program. Whether you decide to walk, run, or join the gym, do something active that gets your heart rate going for 45-60 minutes a day 4-5 days a week.
2. If you've never done any type of exercise that requires you to break a serious sweat, start slow with a low impact class or walking instead of running.
3. Once you get going, increase the duration of your cardiovascular activity - if it's a class, take a harder class; if you're a walker, walk faster, pump your arms, and go further in the same amount of time.
4. Along with your cardiovascular routine, try to incorporate a muscle conditioning routine - at the gym ask a trainer to put you on a program or buy, borrow, or rent some videos to get some help. You want to condition your muscles to keep them toned and strong. Plus, building muscle also increases your metabolism, so you burn more calories naturally.
5. Continue to exercise, but don't forget to eat a well-balanced diet as well. No deprivation required--really! Just make sure you are not overeating anything. Include protein from lean meats, carbs from whole grain foods, veggies and fruit, lean dairy, and water. As for sweets, if you eat a well balanced meal and eat until you feel satisfied, it's likely that you will feel OK passing on that dessert, however if it is a must have then your options are to a.) share it with friends, b.)go for the least of all evils. Fat free chocolate pudding, ice pops, a few chocolate kisses, etc.
6. Include this facial exercise in your routine: Tilt your head back, mouth the vowels AEIOU in an exaggerated manner then pretend to kiss the ceiling.
Tips * Consult a doctor to make sure you have no health problems contributing to weight gain or loss in certain areas. Also, have your thyroids checked.
* Wear walking/running or the appropriate exercise shoes to avoid injuries to your knees and hips.
* Wear comfortable clothing
* Don't forget your water bottle!!
Warnings * If you experience pain or dizziness while exercising, stop, sit and get assistance.
* Remember - Targeted weight loss is a myth. As you begin to loose weight it will naturally come off of your bodys fat reserves. These areas typically include the face, butt and torso
uuuh...there's nothing you can do to lose only your face fat..when you lose weight..you lose it all over your body include your face fat too!!
First, you need to go to the doctor. This could be a symptom of a problem.
If not, there's nothing you can do, but you will feel lucky when you get older because a rounded face looks younger.
eat sugar free gum
No, there really is nothing you can do. I mean you can not exericise just your face right?? If you could.what would that look like? Lifting weights with your lips?
There's nothing you can do about it. I saw a lot of models with chubby faces and rest of their body looking like skeletons. Only girls like slim faces, men are crazy about chubby cheeks. I'd say "be happy with what you have" and try some make-up for your cheeks. Cheek shadow makes a face look slimmer.
lypo...Tyra paints her cheekbones on. You can give yourself the illusion of a thinner face with the right make-up techniques.
There really is no way to do it. I'm like you: skinny but with a fat face. I learned from a surgeon that its not possible to lose the fat on your face by working out. Its called buccal fat and it can only be removed through liposuction or an operation called a buccal fat excision where he removes the fat "pad" from your cheeks. I had it done and it worked great and now my face is lean. No amount of working out will do it, trust me, I tried!
Sorry hun but there's nothing you can do about it. Your face may be like that due to your genetic makeup. The only thing you can do to make it thinner or look thin is to apply makeup a certain way to make it look thinner or just exercise to lose weight all around.
Drink 8 ounces of water every day.
Do strength training.
Everday, cut 250 calories and burn 250 calories.
Eat at least three servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
Say no to alcohol.
Increase your intake of calcium.
Hold the salt.Yup, that should help =)

How can i NOT lose weight while toning up?

Ive been toning up this week, and i think i lost a pound.Im already thin, but i really want to tone everything up without losing weight! GOSH WHAT CAN I DO.i dont want to lose weight.what do i need to do??...does toning up make you lose weight??.
Answer:
Eat more protein and drink plenty of water while working out.
Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you just want to tone, lift some weights and you probably won't lose weight, but firm up.
Make sure your calorie intake is high enough to sustain your current weight. Muscle burns calories faster than fat...

How can I motivate myself to go to the gym every day?

I just joined a gym and I want to make sure that I go every day, but I usually go about 2 weeks and then get bored and stop going...how do i make it across the two week mark and make sure that i go everyday for the rest of the summer? (I'm attempting to devote the next four months of my life to getting myself into better shape, eating habits, and hopefully losing between 10 and 20 pounds)
Answer:
Put a picture of a hottie in your fridge.
I am in the same boat but at least you already joined a gym. Paying for the fee alone would motivate me. But seriously, you need to think yourself to go and tell yourself something like if you don't something bad will happen to you. Like when a person needs to take medicine just to stay alive. I know this sounds silly, but think something on those lines and trust me you will end up going.
check if there is group fitness
it's better for you when there are other ppl and an instructor
it's very motivating and fun
In all honesty..you make it a lifestyle. You make it into a regular routine and that is the key. It is like the time you brush your teeth and the time you take your shower. Losing 10 or 20 pounds is great but what's the use if you do it..stop going and gain it back?It will become very fulfilling if you stay with it.
Go with a friend, or bring an iPod or mp3 player ... award yourself after the gym :)

How can I melt the fat away through exercise?

Answer:
running is a great way to burn fat. you also get a full body work out when u swim, and dancing also works great.
cardio, cardio, cardio------ running is a great way to burn the fat
melt nice wording
stop eating
Do high reps and ride the bike stationary bike for 30 minutes before you workout.
Jogging, fast-paced walking, biking. Lots of cardio
Make that between regular daily activities and excersizing that you are burning at least 500 calories more than you take in each day. Burning 500 cal extra/day = 1 pound of fat loss/ week.
Plenty of cardio and weightlifting will do the trick. You have to make sure you are on a good diet also. It takes a combination of those three things to increase your metabolism to burn fat. http://www.makeoverfitness.com/aerobic_e...
http://www.makeoverfitness.com
a fun way to do it is to go and run laps or sprint up and down a small hill.or you could easily do curl ups and sit ups and crunches and all sorts of stuff. That'll turn your abs into steel. However, it is important to keep in mind that excersise and diet go hand in hand. If you excercise, you will be strong, but you won't be healthy and you won' t loose a ton of weight. Now, I don't mean go on a strict veggie only diet, I am saying just do away with the simple carbs(pasta, white breads, crackers, white rice, etc,) and switch to eating veggies, fruit, whole grain breads and crackers, plain yogurt(cream top-just plain is sick) Learn to make the disgusting foods tasty with another food you like. Like squash if you barbeque it it tastes fantastic. Any time you sweat you lose weight, so get out there with your shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes and lose weight. Good things you can do would be raquet ball, tennis, basketball, swimming, jogging, soccer, etc.extra tips:
If you eat more in the morning and less at night then it is easier to lose weight.good luck

How can I maximize my time at the gym?

I have about an hour, maybe an hour and a half that I can spend at the gym during the week and I was wondering how I can maximize my time there. I want to loose extra poundage and get my conditioning up.
I have started by using the eleptical (30 mins) and the bike (15 - 20 mins) and the stairs (15 mins).
Thanks in advance.
Answer:
How many days a week do you have to devote to being at the Gym?If you have only three, try devoting time to both strength training, endurance training, and cardiovascular training within the same day. If you have more, try alternating days: one day do cardio, the next do circuit training.Focus on keeping your heart-rate up and try to rest as little as possible between sets, repititions, and different excercises.Be sure to research what you want to do and don't overexert yourself too early. Good luck!
start changing up each time you go. Maybe one day you do 4 sets of ab crunches and then follow up by 4 sets of Chest presses. Change it up each time.
You could start weight training...It would be good to mix things up a bit too, push yourself and go a little faster for a few minutes, try starting with the bike one day for 30 mins the elliptical for 20 and the stairs for 30...This site helps me out when I'm in a jam...A lot of it has to do with your diet too. Hope this helps...Good Luck
Meet with your Gym's personal trainer, each gym has one and you should have at least 1 free hour with them. The trainer will access your current body shape and fitness level and draw up a plan for you (with your input for the next 6 months).
It should have a beginner, intermediate and expert levels and they will show you where you are in the group for each exercise, since you'll be at different levels for each one.If you have been to the gym for quite a while or have already used your free time, hire the trainer for an hour. It usually runs about $50 but they will often still do it for free, since they are just assessing you and not working with them for motivation (that is what a personal trainers usually charges for).It would be easy to say do this or do that but without looking at you and seeing what your fitness level is the information may be wrong. An hour with a trainer will be your best investment for your body and your time.
I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her. I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at
http://www.mesayyes.info , my aunt got a free trial and paid only 6.95$ shipping and handling.

How can I make working out not boring?

Im not against working out, plus i seriously need to, but the only reason I resist working out is that i get so bored. I've listen to music, i've tried watched television. Nothing seems to work. Plus unlike some people i dont seem to get the endorphins that others recieve. I get sore and tired. Anyone have any advice? Thanks
Answer:
Don't go to the gym so much. Break up your routine with exercising out in the world. The other day I went running in the on a path in the park, what a difference from running on a treadmill in the gym. Also pick up some type of activity that you enjoy. I lose alot of weight when I play basketball and I enjoy it.
THE ONLY WAT TO LOSE WEIGHT SAFELY IS THROUGH EXERCISE AND CLEANSING..
My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 13 pounds in 9 days:). www. cleansewithcgnj. comIt will change your life:)
Eat a banana, this has lots of potassium in i that will prevent soreness. What music are you listening to? I mean really hard rock makes me work out more. That's what used to play in the gym i went to. But sometimes you just have to explore your options.
You need to think positively about working out before going to do it. I always listen to music and sing along, you should try doing that...
i love dancing wildly and just jumping around like a kid...
hmmm. wow... it seems to be hard to give you an advice. hmmm... you can play cell phone's game. that is my the only idea i can give you. sorry...
when i work out it is kind of boring i say that you should work out to the music I never watch television because i get distracted maybe you should try some techniques of being bored for periods of time. I just figure im here to work out
You are pacing yourself wrongly by the sound of it.Go for a SLOW run-- mp3 player is option-- but make sure you can running at a pace where you can still have a conversation with someone beside you. At that rate, you are getting a workout and building stamina and confidence. Try a half hour at that pace-- don't let those around you influence you to 'speed up'. Just enjoy the pace and around 20 mins, you should get that endorphin rush. Keep this up say three times a week for a month. And by the third week, I guarantee you will know your own body and your pace will pick up quite nicely-- though that is not necessary to you having a good workout and a fun time.
How about brisk walking, jogging or running for a while...this does the same for your body as does aerobics, and it would be a change of pace for you. You can wear a walkman for music. Also check out Yoga (there are lots of books in the library on this). Start with 'gentle yoga' and work your way up.
Watch your favorite movie %26 focus on that.
have sex! lotsa sex! sex makes you sweat, get fit and is fun to do all the time! plus, there are nearly unlimited positions to use, so it counts for yoga too
what i've seen so far are great suggestions. i hate working out in the evening or after work/school. Its always good to start your workout early in the morning...like within 30-45 minutes upon waking up. Eat a fruit or light juice beverage beforehand. workout with a friend or whatnot. have you tried reading a magazine/article ? Also, mix up your excercise routine. Don't do the same excercises every day. Treat each session as an adventure. You say you get tired and sore...don't feel discouraged. Try lightening your excercise routines. Start small and work your way up. If you can, try to excercise "at least" 15 minutes (thats coming from a friend, who is a fitness trainer). If you stick with it, your body will adapt, trust me. Then you can progress to your goal %26 beyond. If your serious about improving your physical appearance, then you will find excercising not as boring. Find some source of motivation...that will push you to stick with your fitness goals. Most importantly, never stop trying.Quote: "You never fail, unless you stop trying"Hope this helps!

How can I make sure that I don't eat food that isn't in my diet?

Answer:
Don't let any in the house!Don't go anywhere with money, so you can't buy anything...make a friend or mate carry all the $.
by not putting it in your mouth =)
Send it to me.No, it's called discipline.
if its in the house throw it away ( I threw away half a cheesecake sniff...sniff) or put it in a very hard place to reach. if your problem is when you go out, find your favorite healthy food and only go to that restaurant
don't buy it in the first place and only buy stuff for your diet. and don't let your friends give you food like at lunch or something.

How can I make stomach fat go away?

I need to know how to get fat off, because I have really hard abs, but there is a layer of squish, and I want to know how to make it go away. I don't wanna hear any of your "you shouldn't be obsessed about your body" or "be happy with what you have" cus I'm not. If you wanna pull that sh.it, watch the tyra banks show. I am looking for serious and practical advise for trimming estra fat off. I run a mile every three days, but if you think there are other exercises I could be doing let me know!!! I just want the toned flat look. If you give a dumbass answer, I wil report you.
Answer:
"If you give a dumbass answer, I wil report you."hehe, you're too funny.I noticed that when losing fat, the stomach is always the hardest/last thing to go. I was told that if you want to lose fat around the waist/abs you must do exercises that include moving your legs alot... I find that to be so true. I do alot of sprints like they do in track because it helps with my martial arts training. Ever since I've been doing that (once again) the fat that I had gained since after highscool has trimmed down significantly... I can see my six pack much more now because of running.
If you're just jogging a mile every 3 days, that might not be enough... if it's just jogging, your body could handle that every other day/every day (if you have the time). One thing you could do during your jog is a sprint for about 20-40 yards towards the end of your jog...and/or you can do a couple of wind sprints (20-40) yards after your jog or on different days. Think about it, every sport out there that consists of alot of running has (mostly) athletes that are in great shape (minimum body fat, defined muscles, great abs, etc).
I had that problem for awhile, I took a break from excessive exercise for about two years, ate alot of foods (junk too), drank alot of beer, etc... I gained a few unwanted pounds mostly around my stomach. It bothered me to no end. Then I gave up that lifestyle and went back to my old ways, it took awhile, but not that long after I began to run/watched my diet. One more thing... you mentioned you have really hard abs... well, my belief is that if no one had fat surrounding the tummy, then you would see nice abs on everyone. With that being said, you probably don't have to do too many exercises on your tummy, just lose the fat and your abs will be more visible. You have tight abs already, I'm sure that's muscles! Good luck on your journey, you'll be fine in due time....
Do crunches and sit-ups.
Or the easist solution is to get lipo.
Get an yoga ball or an exercise ball.
do crunches on them.
it will help soooooo much! =]
hoped it helped!
Just wondering- have you had any pregnancies, and did your belly get really large? Did you have stretch marks? Or have you at any time in your life lost a large (I mean large) loss of weight? In either cases, the problem is most likely a kind of "pouch" of stretched out skin. Sorry! You can exercise all you want but that won't go away! Only a tummy tuck can help.
If it isn't related to a pregnancy or a mega weight lose, I've heard that curl ups are the most effective for the lower abdominal muscles.
If you carry extra weight on your tummy then that means that you need to step up your exercise routine.Run longer distances and do more belly work (good old sit-ups) watch what you eat.try to eat a healthy low fat diet drink lots of water.Stay away from all fried and fast foods.if you do end up at a McDonald/ Burger King order a healthy grilled chicken sandwich and a salad instead of a fatty burger with fries.Don't get mayo on your chicken sandwich an no salad dressing on your salad they have lots of calories.Do you know that simple housework such as sweeping moping and vacuum floors will burn calories and stored fat too? How about mowing the lawn(I'm not talking about a riding mower)all that is good for you.Move around a lot don't park close to a store park further away.Walk the stairs instead of using an elevator. You can do it trust me.Good Luck and God Bless.
the only way to get rid of fat anywhere on body is threw overall weight loss - unfortunately we cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
do a lot of setups and when you walk hold your stomach musels in.and you should lose it that way.

How can i make purging easier?

I am pro-mia, so don't tell me to stop, just some tips is all i need. How can i make it faster and easierr? pleas help/
Answer:
I agree with you, i can't stand when people say "go get help, blah, blah, blah" Those are side effects, I get them too. Here are things you can do to stay a little healthy atleast.-After you throw up, mix arm and hammer baking soda with water, its an anti acid. It'll protect your teeth somewhat, rinse your mouth with it, and then spit. [about a teaspoon]-Tums are also good for chewing, they will help the acid your vomiting.-Try to alternate between anorexia too, one day eat some lettuce or something small and don't throw it up. Only throw up the bigger meals.-Set a goal weight, but stop after that goal weight, you don't want to die right?-Drink water all the time, alot and alot of it.Goodluck! We can both do it!btw, people are right though, get help if you can, saves a lifetime of pain.
Drink some syrup of ipicac. That will bring up everything you have eaten for the last week.
Just wondering... Have you ever tried to come to grips with healthy diet and exercise? It feels a lot better than throwing up. Seriously, get some counseling. I'm not saying that I'm better than you, or that you suck, but you are going the wrong way down a one way street.Edit: Like a lot of American women, I've had my run ins with eating disorders. So I'm not calling you stupid. I'm telling you to do whatever you need to do to stop. And you can't do it occasionally over the long run. The behavior is addictive.
I doubt you will get much help from this site. You sound pretty dumb to me to want to kill yourself at such a young age.
what is purging whatever
it is you need to stop
i will pray for you
You need help! Anyone that helps you slowly kill yourself by giving you advice on how to is an idiot!!
You really need to get professional help to quit doing this. Get help now, and dont wait till you are near death. This is very dangerous and will destroy your teeth and your health.
All of that stomach acid will ruin your teeth. I don't care how skinny you are, if your teeth are bad you'll look horrible.
Dont tell you to stop! You cant be serious! What answers do you think you are going to get. Please go see someone to help you. This is not a way to keep off the weight. Try exersize and eat healthy. I watched my ex wife almost die from doing this stuff. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks. Had to get a blood transfusion the moment she went in. Heart damage, liver damage. It was not good. please go seek help now while you are still young!
I use to use syrup of ipecac or activated charcoal which ever I had on hand. My nails were becoming a yellowish color and that's when I started using this stuff. It will probably be hard to find the syrup now a days - the FDA pulled it from all first aid kits for some reason. The activated charcoal does the same thing, but leaves your mouth a black color (don't use if at work). If you rinse and brush after you should be fine. I have stopped the whole vomit thing and found out if you just don't eat and drink water all day it feels ten times better. The only time that I vomit now is if someone makes me eat something. Good Luck!!
sing a song in your head.

How can i make myself more flexible?

i want to be able to do the splits and stuff!so how specifically
Answer:
Stretching will increase your flexibility. Always stretch when the muscles are warm. Take your time when you stretch. The exercises can be held up to 30 secs. Static stretching is better and safer than ballistic stretching. Your muscles will not become longer, but the connective tissues will, and this is what provides you a greater range of motion.
Stretching out your myscles. but when you do stretch dont bouce on the muscles. Krista
This is a gradual process. You need to exercise and get your muscles pumped up with blood. Then you need to practice your stretching every day. Find a video on Yoga, that will really help.
you should do yoga and polities it works your mussels and make u flexible.

How can I make my semi-"thunder thighs" smaller?

I don't really have thunder thighs...I'm actually a petite girl. But I'm trying to lose about 8 pounds and get more toned. I feel like my hamstrings are a bit too big for the rest of my leg...although it's not that obvious. I notice it more though and I want 'em smaller.I do cardio at the gym 3 days a week, along with weights and I'm watching what I eat. What kinda of workouts would you recommend to target this area on my legs?(side not...I think my hamstrings are actually just a bit larger than usual, cause I remember having large muscles there, even when I was 10 or 11 and I was a thin child). But in any case, how can I make 'em a bit smaller and a lot tighter?
Answer:
Pilates will give you long, lean muscles like a dancer.
My thighs are quite big, and pilates is helping them get leaner and less noticeable, but with a lot of muscle strength.
do some squats! and run
standing tall, lift legs straight out to the side, "one at a time of course", keep it up till you feel the "burn". it takes a LONG time, so long I gave up!

How can I make my legs smaller?

Hi ! I am 15 year old and my weight is right for my age. My legs are not super fat but it has some fat .What are a list of things that I can do to lose that fat and to tone my legs so when I walk it dosn't move that fat around ?
Answer:
on the contrary, i would suggest running. you are using all of your leg muscles when you fun. the only force you have on yourself would, of course, be only yourself. when you bike you are constantly pushing with your legs. this may make your legs bigger (not what you wanted) and it doesnt use all of your leg muscles. both are good for exercise though! they both work out your heart. i would just go for doing a fun sport that you enjoy doing(ex: volleyball, track, softball ect.ect.). when you enjoy doing what your doing, you will do more of it, and therefore get a better result! good luck!
if u say ur body fat is ok and only ur legs are a bit on the heavy side .. so i would suggest cycling ! running will make u loose the whle body weight .. and the proportionality of ur legs to ur body will be the same i think ..
cycling will work mostly the thighs and legs keeping ur upper body nice but ur legs slim.. giving u a V-shape !!
This is an easy one for me to answer. Easiest way to tone up your legs is jogging or running. These exercises are most beneficial for your legs because when you run you are not only building muscle in your legs (toning) you are also burning calories. This is the single exercise the will help tone your legs with double the benefit of most other exercises. Another good exercise if you are close to some flights of stairs would be jogging up steps. This would also help burn calories and tone your legs. The reason I said this question is right up my alley is because I was a cross country runner in college and a marathon runner now and nothing tones your legs more that running. Good luck and enjoy yourself.
I am a Tae Bo fan! Kick boxing with Billy Blanks is the best. Or go to Gold's Gym they have kick boxing classes. It definitely does a good job on your whole body and the legs too. Considering all the kicking done and it builds the legs incredibly!!
You can find his videos at Target and might be cheaper than buying them online!
jogging walking swmming any thing where you move your legs it will tone the muscles in your legs making it look slim.

How can I make my body look like Beyonce's?

We have the same body shape/type besides my boobs are bigger. What can I do? Is weight training enough? I mainly want to tone my stomach.
Answer:
Pilates, esp. the hundreds. I like the Mari Windsor tapes. ALso the exercise ball, while gimmicky, is effective. Not sure what I think about modeling oneself on a highly airbrushed celebrity, though.Edit: Actually, the Windsor DVDs. I call them all tapes because I get all my exercise videos at yard sales and thrift shops.

How can i make my arms look less thin? Any tips??

My arms are very thin especially the wrist area. Is there anything i can do to build them up a bit so they don't look so boney? I am naturally thin but not underweight and the rest of me don't look too bad, it's just my arms. I've tried excercises but it dosn't seem to do anything.
Answer:
Start lifting weights. It won't make you bulk up, but it will help create muscle for you.
Ameno acids, check out GNC
Just be happy with yourself
I wear full sleeves most of the time
We naturally have a small amount of flesh and fat covering our wrists and for the most part, it's bone size that determines how large your wrists look.
Even if we gain a considerable amount of weight, or work out and build a lot of muscle, it won't cause much change in that part of the body.

How can I make healthy homemade breakfast bars?

I hate breakfast. BUT... I know it's important. I find it easiest to eat a breakfast bar. When I go to the store, I find plenty of them. Most claim to be "all natural", but when I read the ingredients they have all sorts of funky chemicals in them. I'd rather not eat that. Any good recipes?
Answer:
These bars are really good - tasty and fillinghttp://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy...
MAKES 24 BARS

Stir well to blend and set aside. In a small saucepan, stir together the honey, peanut butter and olive oil over medium-low heat until well blended. Don't let the mixture boil. Stir in the vanilla. Add the warm honey mixture to the dry ingredients and stir quickly until well combined. The mixture should be sticky but not wet.Pat the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. How can I make coffee? please give me the detailed instruction.?

Answer:
I assume you have an automatic coffee maker. Put a filter into the coffee bin on top of the coffee maker, it's usually a removable "bowl" type thing. The size of filter depends on the type of coffee maker you have (4-cup or 12-cup, some are cone shaped) Since you're inexperienced buy your coffee already ground. If you don't have a scoop use a tablespoon. I use a tablespoon per measuring cup of coffee I want, so a typical coffee cup is two tablespoons (mine are anyway) since my cups hold two measuring cups of liquid. How much you use depends on how strong you like your coffee. Pour your cold water into the reservoir up to the 2-3-4 cup mark (however much you've decided to have). Press the on button and in a minute it will start brewing. It sounds complicated but after you do it once you'll have it down! Good luck!
I can't help you without knowing what kind of coffee pot you have.
Mix ground coffee with near boiling water, let sit for 4-5 minutes, strain, enjoy.
buy coffee beans, flavor of your choice
buy a coffee grinder
grind them up
put the grounds in a coffee filter
put the filter in the coffee maker
pour water in the coffe maker
turn it on
VOILA
I will tell you how Puertorrican coffee are made at traditional stile. Will need a"colador" is like a piece cotton fabric made hith a handle.
Put in there about 陆 lb of coffee, brew water and spill into the coffee. Make sure to have the cup to catch up the coffee. If prefere can make a second pass. This will make the coffee "puya" (hard or very concentrate) And if like it can blend it with milk (at the cup) CAUTION!! dont guaranteed if used with non puertorrican coffee LOL For more info contact me...
Let's assume for a moment you have a 12-cup coffee maker...like the ones you pour the water in at the top and you put the coffee in one of those paper coffee filters that sit inside the plastic filter holder that goes over the empty pot that you put under where the water will come out of and drip into the coffee.(whew!).Put four (4) heaping tablespoons of your favorite roast coffee (Yuban, Folgers, whatever) into the filter, put the filter into the plastic holder. Fill the pot up with cold water and pour the water into the coffeemaker. Put the coffee, filter, holder on top of the empty pot and put the cover on top of the coffee and the pot under where the boiling water will come out.Turn the pot on, and in about ten minutes, hot delicious coffee.

How can i maintain my weight once i return home for summer?

when i came to college i had a bad case of the "freshman 15" and it was really difficult for me because i was ALWAYS naturally thin and never had to think abt my weight or how much i ate. now i'm back to my old weight (after a lot of struggle) and i eat healthy. i do however stop myself from eating the same proportions as i use to (wish i could still eat like that!). but now i'm worried that once i go back home for summer that the weight will come back- how can i maintain my current weight and still enjoy the benefits of eating at home?
Answer:
cut your carbs down
Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").The Hoodia sold at http://www.about4me.info/free-diet-pills... is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free sample bottle (there is a $6.95 shipping and handling charge).
Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

Answer:
Hello Socks n Heels,I understand how you feel. When I was in college, while I didn't gain the "freshman 15" I did gain the "Junior and Senior 20" thanks to all the rigorous coursework and less time to exercise! :) What really helped me after college was actually understanding how many calories I was burning (on average) and keeping a food diary. It helped me understand the relationships between the foods I was eating and how much I was eating as a result, as well as understanding how much is too much.Sometimes, the best thing to do regarding weight loss is to keep yourself "occupied." If you're bored or just sitting around the house, you constantly have access to food and it makes it very difficult to stay away from those temptations. Sometimes it really helps to just go out for a walk and get your mind off things. Also, drink plenty of water (probably one of the more under-rated solutions).Higher fiber diets, particularly in water soluable fibers which are found mainly in fruits and some vegetables will help keep you "fuller" longer. Finally, as I mentioned before, it really helps to know what your metabolic needs are. While I'm not advertising this service in anyway, because it's a link to a local California company, this website does provide a free online health calculator which is excellent in calculating your metabolism (in fact, there is even a link to this website from the California Dietetic Association, so it is a very reputable site). If you goto: http://www.nutradvice.com/healthylifesty...
They have a calculating tool which can help you get a good idea of how many calories you burn and what your nutrition needs are.I hope this helps and good luck to you!
take a walk or go running outside twice a day (day+night), about 1hr for each time.

How can i lower my THC level for a piss test fast?

if not fast whats the most affective way?
Answer:
I drank cranberry juice and water, a lot of it. I passed in less than 5 days. How long do you have? If you need quick results try golden seal or quick flush. You can buy it at GNC
Drink Vinigar. It makes you pee a lot and burns it out of your system. also smoke weed about 1 hour before you pee. it takes 48 hours for thc to show up in your system, it kicks the old out and starts over new. everytime you smoke.
golden seal-you can find it at GNC. and, sweat like a dog...lots of cardio...I passed one in 9 days, and I was smoking like a chimney!!
You can buy synthetic urine at your local smoke shop. It has a thermometer on the side and instructions on how to use it. Supposedly it will pass any normal urine test.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water. It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!
