How can I rebuild my butt once it has gone flat?

After years of working a desk job my butt is flatter than a duck's instep. What's the best way to reshape my posterior?
Answer:
BARBELL SQUATS: They are the King of Lower Body Exercises, nothing else even comes close. Find someone (e.g. a personal trainer) who can instruct you in the proper form. Most people do these with theur weight too far forward, the secret is before you even think of bending your knees to stick your butt and hips out behind you towards the back of the wall. Squat deep (until your thighs are parallel to the floor) You can practice the form at home by standing about 3" in front of a chair that would put you at about this height and SLOWLY putting your butt out behind you and lowering it until you make a Controled and Gentle landing with it on the edge of the chair. When you can do six of these in a ow without falling over or stumbling back you will be ready to throw a bar and some weight on.
Very easy, go cycling.
Squats and use the elliptical machine for cardio. The resistance on the elliptical will help, but definitely squats.
Try doing weighted squats %26 lunges. Also, if you go to the gym, there is a few machines that you can use as well (just look at the pictures on the side as to what muscles they work)
Butt implants or Butt exercises, your choice.
you need to do squats but instead of regular squats stick your butt out a little that way your buns get a work out another way is to do but busters where you basically get on all four and lift one leg at a time with a weight .you should also visit a body building site www.musclemag.com good luck and soon enough nice buns buddy
lay on your back with your knees up and your hands by ur side then push up your butt and hold it there for 10 sec. then just keep repeating!!
that whati have to do to keep my bun in shape for dance!
Lunges, with or without weights in your hands or on your shoulders, will help rebuild those fanny muscles.
Stairs, Hiking, any kind of exercise that uses incline that will bring that duck hiney of yours right back into your jeans or whatever pants you wear.
Another good one is walking at a good pace on a treadmill with the incline at its highest. You'll get your cardio plus it's great on the glutes!
skip steps when walking up the stairs. to prevent this from happening in the future here is a trick.most people when they sit, are not sitting on their "butts" but their backs. when you sit down, shift side to side (your whole upper body to your lower back, might have to stick your butt on each side to do this) so that you are actually sitting on your butt bone.
