How can I make working out not boring?

Im not against working out, plus i seriously need to, but the only reason I resist working out is that i get so bored. I've listen to music, i've tried watched television. Nothing seems to work. Plus unlike some people i dont seem to get the endorphins that others recieve. I get sore and tired. Anyone have any advice? Thanks
Answer:
Don't go to the gym so much. Break up your routine with exercising out in the world. The other day I went running in the on a path in the park, what a difference from running on a treadmill in the gym. Also pick up some type of activity that you enjoy. I lose alot of weight when I play basketball and I enjoy it.
THE ONLY WAT TO LOSE WEIGHT SAFELY IS THROUGH EXERCISE AND CLEANSING..
My family and I have been using the best cleansing technology...:)the first time I did it, I lost 13 pounds in 9 days:). www. cleansewithcgnj. comIt will change your life:)
Eat a banana, this has lots of potassium in i that will prevent soreness. What music are you listening to? I mean really hard rock makes me work out more. That's what used to play in the gym i went to. But sometimes you just have to explore your options.
You need to think positively about working out before going to do it. I always listen to music and sing along, you should try doing that...
i love dancing wildly and just jumping around like a kid...
hmmm. wow... it seems to be hard to give you an advice. hmmm... you can play cell phone's game. that is my the only idea i can give you. sorry...
when i work out it is kind of boring i say that you should work out to the music I never watch television because i get distracted maybe you should try some techniques of being bored for periods of time. I just figure im here to work out
You are pacing yourself wrongly by the sound of it.Go for a SLOW run-- mp3 player is option-- but make sure you can running at a pace where you can still have a conversation with someone beside you. At that rate, you are getting a workout and building stamina and confidence. Try a half hour at that pace-- don't let those around you influence you to 'speed up'. Just enjoy the pace and around 20 mins, you should get that endorphin rush. Keep this up say three times a week for a month. And by the third week, I guarantee you will know your own body and your pace will pick up quite nicely-- though that is not necessary to you having a good workout and a fun time.
How about brisk walking, jogging or running for a while...this does the same for your body as does aerobics, and it would be a change of pace for you. You can wear a walkman for music. Also check out Yoga (there are lots of books in the library on this). Start with 'gentle yoga' and work your way up.
Watch your favorite movie %26 focus on that.
have sex! lotsa sex! sex makes you sweat, get fit and is fun to do all the time! plus, there are nearly unlimited positions to use, so it counts for yoga too
what i've seen so far are great suggestions. i hate working out in the evening or after work/school. Its always good to start your workout early in the morning...like within 30-45 minutes upon waking up. Eat a fruit or light juice beverage beforehand. workout with a friend or whatnot. have you tried reading a magazine/article ? Also, mix up your excercise routine. Don't do the same excercises every day. Treat each session as an adventure. You say you get tired and sore...don't feel discouraged. Try lightening your excercise routines. Start small and work your way up. If you can, try to excercise "at least" 15 minutes (thats coming from a friend, who is a fitness trainer). If you stick with it, your body will adapt, trust me. Then you can progress to your goal %26 beyond. If your serious about improving your physical appearance, then you will find excercising not as boring. Find some source of motivation...that will push you to stick with your fitness goals. Most importantly, never stop trying.Quote: "You never fail, unless you stop trying"Hope this helps!
