How can i lose a few pounds in a few weeks?

id like to lose a few pounds within the next 8 weeks and get nice abs...is that possible and if so how can it be done? i started exercising and i eat healthy..im 6' and weigh 180...anyone have any suggestions?

*pokes the first answer* No!! Don't cut out carbs, those diets are so lame, you gain it back twice as much when you finally eat carbs again... do not starve your body of carbs! Anyways, to my own answer. Just work out, get an exercise regime of sorts and eat healthily. That was you end up healthy and you'll feel better and you'll be fit and you'll have lost weight if you needed too.
the south beach diet is really good for losing 5 to 10 pounds in a couple weeks. All you basically do is just cut out carbs. No bread, pasta, potatoe...

try jogging...eat healthy food such as subs or just avoid food such as rice, peanut butter, jelly, pasteries, candy, sugary snacks, ice cream, etc. you can lose at least 3 pounds if you follow this rule.
it seems like your a healthy weight, but all i can recommend is eating more water based foods, drink water, or coffee maybe even tea instead of soda and juices. eat salads, green beans etc.. try and stay away from the junk food ( high sugary snacks)

i am overweigt 162 kilos, i lost 7 kilos in two weeks.breakfast 2 or 3 bananas or aples, i eat chiken or beef with a salad. for lunch,dinner some fruit,or some times cottage chease with wheath crakers and plenty of water i drink a 1.5 liter water bottle with sugar free tea or cristal light.to crave hunger i recomend Stacker 3 xplc .2in the morning and one before lunch ,
