Well Im no "health nut", but I have made changes to my lifestyle that have helped me lose weight (about 3lbs a week). Basics: Eat breakfast or a snack within the first hour you wake up, this helps start your metabolism up fast. Eat 3 solid and well balanced meals and 2 snacks a day. Don't eat anything within 2 hours of going to sleep.
Ex: 1 fried egg, slice of wheat toast, and 1 cup orange juice for breakfast. Lunch: 3 slices of turkey on wheat bread, with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Snacks: 1 apple with 4 tsp. peanutbutter / 1 oz. Ghirardelli 60% Dark Chocolate / 2oz walnuts. Dinner: Baked chicken %26 veggies. Fish and chicken are better for your body. You should only eat red meat once a week. Drink low or no fat milk or soy milk (even better!). Drink at LEAST 2 liters of water a day, and exercise 20 mins a day or just as much as you can.
