How can I lose 5 pounds in around 8 days?

I want to look good for my last dance, but I still have to tone up a bit. Any help?

loosing 5 pounds in 8 eight days will probably last you like two weeks. when you loose over 2 pounds a week, most of the weight is water content, and not fat. try doing it in two weeks if you can. check out http://www.hpathy.com/healthtools/calori... to see exactly how many calories you should eat/work off based on your basal metabolic rate (everything is explained on the site).good luck and have fun at the dance!

To lose 5 pounds, you'll need to run a caloric defict of 17,500 calories (each pound = 3,500 calories). Realistically, the most you can lose is about 3 pounds per week, with disciplined dieting and aerobic exercise.While it is possible to lose 5 pounds in 8 days with a crash/starvation diet, it will no doubt be very unhealthy, and most of the weight loss will be from muscle loss, which your body uses first (before fat) when in starvation mode. I would suggest limiting your carb intake, lowering your calories to 2,000 per day (or maybe a little less, but no less than 1500 calories), and adding some aerobic exercise of 20-30 minutes per day for the next 8 days.
